Vegas

Both of these pictures i took in vegas over presidents day weekend. They were taken at the Belagio and i just wanted to take a picture of the cool displays they had.

Landscapes

We lived in such a beautiful state! Utah is so gorgeous this time of year! I went up to my friends ranch this past month and wanted to capture the beauty of the landscape. I loved the tree's and the plains of this beautiful peace of land.

Yoga Sister

These pictures were taken when i was working on my portrait assignment. The first picture i actually used for my assignment, but it was very changed in photoshop when i turned it in. I actually loved the lighting in this picture and was trying to show the shadow in the background. I also wanted to show that my sister has a passion for yoga. The second two pictures i didn't use for the assignment but i actually liked a lot. I love the expression of her face in both pictures and i thought that the lighting was also good. I was going for a fun loving and motivated teenager in these pictures.

Portraits

I've been working on getting good portraits lately. Both of these pictures i played with on photoshop to get a new feeling with the picture. I was going for more of a glamorized look for both pictures.

Twins

These two pictures are of my twin nieces Juliet and Claire. I wanted to get pictures of them playing on the playground. The first picture i wanted to capture them in action. Juliet was climbing up the ladder and Claire was still just playing in the treehouse. The second pictures i thought was fun because it showed Juliets emotions and it was cute that she was still holding her little stuff animal that she loves.

Flowers and Bowling

The first picture I took this to show the colors of the flowers and the vase. I thought the colors were pretty and i really liked the look of the vase.
The second picture is of my husband bowling and i liked how it showed motion and also had the U logo showing that it was in the Union Building.

Palm Springs

I visited palm springs this weekend and stayed at a beautiful resort called La Quinta. The first two pictures are of the flowers, trees and fountains at the resort. The second picture is of the pool and palm trees to make you feel as though you were there.
